Need a Visa to Enter Serbia: How to Stay More Than 90 Days

If you are from a country that does not have a visa-free agreement with Serbia, you must apply for an entry visa. Check the website of the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to confirm whether you need a visa.

What Is a D-Visa?

A D-Visa is a long-term visa that allows you to stay in Serbia for up to 180 days based on employment, self-employment, family reunification, and other eligible grounds. It is the first step toward obtaining a temporary residence and work permit in Serbia.

After we register a company for you, here’s what we should do:

• You will inject the initial capital on company account in the amount of at least 6 minimal monthly incomes (this is needed because your company will be the gurantor of your stay)
• We will prepare an invitation letter from your company, inviting you to stay in Serbia for up to 180 days.

The entire process is done online, and your personal presence is not required.

What Do You Have to Do?

• Inject at least EUR 4,000 into your company’s bank account and provide a bank statement as proof
• Provide a personal photograph
• Provide proof of means of personal support, such as:
  • Salary confirmation or employment contract
  • Pension statement
  • Bank statement showing at least EUR 4,000

What We Take Care Of

• Preparing the invitation letter
• Arranging the health insurance policy
• Preparing a Power of Attorney for the D-Visa process
• Arranging a certificate of temporary residence address (issued by your hotel or landlord)
• Submitting the application to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

The entire process is done online, and your personal presence is not required, except for your initial entry into Serbia with a C-Visa to register the company.
